Events Aircooled Scheveningen 2012

This Sunday, may 20th, the first 'Aircooled Scheveningen' will take place. This is going to be a unique aircooled VW meeting on the boulevard in Scheveningen, the Netherlands! Never before something like this has took place on that location, so with some good weather we will have a blast looking at the 300+ dub's that already signed in, some cold drinks and with our feet in the sand and sea! Yes we are looking forward to this! I will defanitly post pictures and will give you the full report as soon as possible! Stay tuned!

Event AirMighty Summer Picnic 2012

On the weekend of 15 & 16 September 2012 the 3th edition of the 'Summer Picnic' organised by Eetcafé Fijn and AirMighty will take place in Apeldoorn NL!
This year it's going to be a full two day weekend/event! Same location as last year at the open-air swimmingpool! Good facitilies, trade-stands with VW parts and goodies, good food and cold drinks, live music and child activities! You really do not wanna miss this most relaxed aircooled VW weekend of this season!!

Yesterday evening it was time for our 64th edition of the Aircooled Cruise Night in Zevenhuizen, the Netherlands. It was wet, a lot of rain but nevertheless we could welcome a nice amount of aircooled VWs and Porsche's! Spoke to some friends again and enjoyed some drinks, good fun. Last weekend Hot Rod Surf took place at the FAST Surf Village in Scheveningen organised by Lucky Lenn from Lucky13 clothing. It's always a great to the Hot Rods and aircooled VWs coming together like this. Due of the weather it wasn't very busy, but still it was good being there, as you can see the atmosphere was great! To celebrate the fact that we just published issue #08 of our beloved AirMighty Megascene we thought it was time for a Release Party. The location was found at our friend / distributor / sponsor Michiel's place, Eetcafé Fijn in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands! The location is perfect as we can park next to his café-restaurant and the food is so damn good that it's always an good excuse to have diner at that place! Here we are at the 29th edition of the Mai Käfer Treffen in Hannover, Germany. This is the biggest one day aircooled VW treffen in Europe and maybe even in the world! We where there with the AirMighty Megascene stand of course! As it was so very, very busy at the stand I didn't had any time to walk around and check out the cars. So my buddy Marco made some pictures of this years event! It's simply impossible to capture the whole event as it's simply to big! It was again a great show and becouse of the perfect weather there was a massive crowd! And Marco even brought home a 'Top15' award with his Jeans Bug, congrats buddy!!

The evening before the big 1st of Mai Kafer Treffen in Hannover the DFL Cal-Look Club always organises their 'May Cruise Madness'! This is an event we have been visiting the last couple of years and I must say that this year was a very good one! Great weather, a lot of friends, awesome and a lot of new cars, the Kweenonie DJ Bus from Belgium was spinning some tunes and the atmosphere was simply great!
Congrats to Marc - see the picture on the left - with his 'Car of the Night' award that evening! Your car is simply stunning and a well deserved award after your 5 year build on another masterpiece within our aircooled VW scene!

This time with some vintage racing like the Mille Miglia and the Brussels Grand Prix and we also take a closer look at some aircooled VWs that participated in these rally's! Besides that we have some Kustom Kulture in this magazine where we take you to the Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show, Lucky13 Pinstriping Event, Brussels Tattoo Convention and we show you a VW powered VW bike build by Von Dutch in the '60eis! We go 'Outlaw' racing, have a very original Type34 for you and go Resto-Cal with our ultra slammed cover car.
